Pediatric nurse practitioners work with patients from early to early childhood, diagnosing disease, directing tests and approving drugs. Typically, these assistants work near pediatricians in a clinic or outpatient office, but some operate their own private practice. Neonatal intensive care nurses treat premature and critically ill babies in the neonatal emergency unit of a medical clinic. These kids are designed for fast food, which is why neonatal intensive care nurses are associating them with an innovation that encourages them to inspire and allows them to be supported intravenously, so they can gain weight. As a neonatal intensive care nurse, you will work under the direction of a doctor, thinking of the child, informing her new mother of the condition of her baby, breastfeeding and responding to their requests.
